Pay once.
Not every year.
For the next 5 years.
Cyber Jack Academy is the only published K–8 cyber-safety platform with one-time licensing. Every other vendor charges you a subscription, every year, forever — even when your students don't change and the curriculum barely updates.
5-YEAR TOTAL COST · 500-STUDENT SCHOOL
Total · paid once · year 1 only
Per-student / year × 5 years (and rising)
That's a 6.7× to 16.6× cost difference over five years — and the gap widens every year you stay.
The apples-to-apples comparison
500-student elementary school. Five-year horizon. We've used the low end of each competitor's published rack pricing — actual quotes are often higher.

Why subscriptions are a tax on schools
The per-student-per-year model was designed for VC-backed EdTech investors, not for the principals who have to defend the budget line every spring.
Compounding cost
A $5/student/year subscription for 500 students looks like $2,500. Over 5 years it's $12,500. Over 10 years it's $25,000+. The curriculum didn't get 5× better — only the invoice did.
Vendor lock-in
Subscription tools deprecate features to push you to higher tiers. If you cancel, you lose access to student progress data, parent contact lists, and historical reports. We never lock your data.
Procurement fatigue
Every renewal is another PO, another board memo, another vendor-due-diligence cycle. With a one-time license, the procurement conversation happens once — not annually.
And here's what you actually get
Cheaper alone is a race to the bottom. We're cheaper and ship features the bigger vendors won't.

"But what about updates?"
The real question — and the honest answer.
Cyber safety threats evolve. Phishing tactics, gaming-chat scams, sextortion patterns — these all shift year over year. So how does a one-time license stay current?
The honest answer: we ship curriculum updates continuously, and your one-time license includes them — as long as the product exists. If we sunset a module, we tell you up front. If we add a major new module (e.g., a future AI Deepfake Awareness course), it's available as an optional one-time add-on, not a forced upgrade.
You're not paying us to make a curriculum — you already did. You're paying us to keep showing up, and we earn that by being the vendor that didn't auto-bill you on July 1st.
Bring us your current cyber-safety contract.
We'll do a side-by-side TCO model for your specific district — your enrollment, your competitor's current rate, your renewal date. Free, no obligation, takes 24 hours.
